Where does the data live once it is built?

In your own Microsoft 365, under your identity, your policies and your backup. There is no supplier cloud for your security team to assess, because there is no supplier cloud.

People sign in with the work account they already have, so your multi-factor authentication and conditional access apply as they are.

What does a finished build look like?

Governance Hub is committee and meeting management software for every committee below the board: the audit committee, the risk group, the project board, the panel and the working group. It holds each committee's members, meetings, agendas, papers, attendance, decisions, actions and referrals in one place, calculates quorum live as attendance is recorded, and builds the audit trail while people work.

We built it on the same platform and ship it the same way as every bespoke build. Governance Hub is listed on the Microsoft Marketplace, where it passed Microsoft certification.

What do people ask before a build?

Who builds Power Apps and Microsoft 365 applications in the UK?

PolicySight Ltd, a UK software company incorporated in 2018, builds applications on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform for organisations, and makes its own products too. Every application installs into the customer's own Microsoft 365, and PolicySight hosts nothing and holds no customer data.

What do I need from Microsoft to run an application you build?

A Microsoft 365 tenant, and whatever Power Platform licences the design needs, such as Power Apps or Power Pages licences. Those come straight from Microsoft at Microsoft's prices. The written scope says exactly which ones before any work starts.

Can you build on what we already have in SharePoint?

Yes. Many builds start from SharePoint lists and libraries an organisation already runs. We keep the documents where they are and give the records a proper home in Dataverse where the work needs one.

How long does a build take?

It depends on the size of the work. The written scope gives the timeline before anything starts, and you see working screens throughout the build rather than at the end.

How is this different from buying Governance Hub?

Governance Hub is one of our own products, built once and installed as it is by every organisation that buys it. A bespoke build is an application made for your organisation's own work, delivered the same way: a Microsoft solution package installed into your own tenant.
